AnonyMouse_3735
We are a sessional preschool who ALWAYS suffers from the loss of children to school in July and low intake in September usually only 12-15 children , relying on July to make up deficit... we usually get at last 4 no show as well. but this year we are full mornings, half full afternoons 30 children on books, only 1 no show and 5 to start this term and beginning to wonder what happened? we are as busy now as we were in July and a list of children due to start over the next year who may not get a place until September...and here was us looking forward to a slow start and build up numbers as usual... we have so many different languages , 7 in all and are wondering what hit us! Luckily, all have settled surprisingly well, and are happy to come.....we hope this continues but as we all know how quickly things change wonder how long it will last. Any others having a 'bumper' intake this year? Inge
Guest
We loose children to school in January and Sept intakes. It always seems a daunting task to think you need to fill over half of your places, however every school intake comes and goes and we seem to be full every time (24 children per session) sometimes we have to go to 26 to get all of the children from the waiting list. We to have the odd no show (very annoying) but always people ready to take the place.

Guest
We've had as many start as left us in July! Most are still only doing 2 or 3 sessions so we have spaces still but will soon fill up. 4 no shows but we have had 5 in unexpectedly who had seen the poster outside.
