Guest Wolfie Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Yes, I immediately thought of the same condition!
AnonyMouse_8466 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Yes, I immediately thought of the same condition! Great minds think alike, Wolfie! Although, given that we're talking about children here, there are probably a thousand and one other conditions/syndromes which present in similar ways. But at least it gives you somewhere to start! AnonyMouse_2732 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Agree, that's what I would suggest you research - but I can fall over my shadow.......?? Sue
AnonyMouse_79 Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Try clumsy child too, although I think it will lead you to dyspraxia. Dont forget that "condition" has many different and complex characteristics though and he could just be lacking in coordination.

Maz dyspraxia sounds about right-I would actually do a bit of reasearch and contact your OT support for additional advice Lizzie Lou
Guest Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Thankyou soooo Much, thats the word i was thinking off, Thankyou
AnonyMouse_3139 Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 While you're waiting for extra support try a few exercises from brian gym. My friends son has it and some of the exercises he had to do were co-ordination. Touching each finger on his thumb, is one I remember. He was 10 before he was daignosed, so even if you arent sure of what your lad has got, plenty of opportunities for physical play can only help
