Outdoor Funding

We are desperate to develop our school grounds and early years outdoor play areas. Does anyone have any experience of finding funding for this? I have searched but havent seemed to find anything. Would greatly appreciate any advise / links

Try the Learning Through Landscapes website - they might well have some links to funding sources. There is also the Awards for All section of the National Lottery which is quite strightforward to apply for - I would think that your sort of project might well fit their criteria?

We got a large sum of money for our outside improvements from the Local Network Fund, sorry don't have any details.

Oh yes, we had a grant from them too for something else - they were very helpful and even sent someone out to help me complete the paperwork - definitely worth a shot!
