the document is a pdf file that was too large to attach. so i am sending you just the relevant bits.

there has been another booklet that has superceded this information- is in more detail just for state nurseries claases. i will try to send you the relevant bits off that as well

Not sure myself...think it's something to do with the Daycare Standards and the leading Act - you know, Education or Children..? Am I talking rubbish?

 

Sooner it's all sorted and equalised, the better - but, don't you know, there'll be less adults!!!!!!!!!

is it because there's a teacher (QTS) in charge of the state nursery? well if you havn't ogt a nursery unit many 4 year olds go into a class of 1:30 in reception. Its only now that schools are providing teachers in reception with the TA cover they need. It si recemmended thtat reception ratio (unofficially) is best maintained at 1:15 but that is recc best practise.and not everyone gets this cover.
