AnonyMouse_4544 Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 I don't use it (not since I lost my marbles ......a long story) but our Y3 teacher does and she lets the children decide their own reward. Guest Posted October 20, 2007 Share Posted October 20, 2007 Hi Skippy, Yes our school and foundation unit have used marble jars for a long time. I am based in the Foundation unit and previous treats have included a trip to the local park, a teddy bears picnic, we have had a cinema afternoon with tickets and popcorn !! one group of children wanted to bake biscuits. We sit the children down and talk to them about the treat and give them some ideas but ultimately the choice is theirs. Obviously going on an aeroplane to the seaside we couldn't accomodate much to my disappointment. Hope it works well for your children. N Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
