Guest
Hiya I have not seen specifc policy but we had one where you could lift the child/toddler onto mat if that was safe to do so. After all depends very much on size and strength of adult and children. We had many children 2 plus that were very heavy there was the option that if it wasnt safe/easy for you to lift you could place the changing mat on the floor to change child. Guest
Went on a manual handling course...although the course wasn't specifically for lifting children it is basically the same for lifting boxes, tables etc as it is for children. If you look at the situation first and think you won't be able to do so without risk of hurting yourself .....DONT DO IT. It's ok to place changing mat on the floor (clean!) to do the changing.
