Course Book For Special Needs Unit

Hi

I'm just starting my final unit of my dpp. I've chosen special needs as my option and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for one good book to buy. I've been to local library and everything is either on loan or lost. As I am doing my course through outreach I don't get to go to the college library as it's too far away. As I can only afford to spend out on one book I want to try and make sure it's a good one for my course but also future reference.

I used 'Good Practice in Caring for Young Children with Special Needs' Angela Dare and Margaret O'Donvan ISBN 0-7487-6837-8 quite a lot when I did a cache level 3 SEN course, not sure if I'd have bought it - but with the ISBN number you may be able to order it from you local library.
