Guest
Oh please could someone help me Our school is about to start training us on the Assessment for Learning from the QCA it is not a statutory requirement but our headteacher would like to adopt it in school. When we have looked through the document it does not mention anything for foundation stage. We obviously have our own assessment guidance from the new EYFS but the AfL is a whole school approach and we have to do the training. Does anyone know how well this will fit in to the foundation stage? Thanks in anticipation Lisa
AnonyMouse_3307
look at the in depth materials on the cd rom under the enabling environments i think. lots of useful things about afl in fs. On going observational assessment that is analysed to inform practice, provision and planning IS assessment for learning so you need to hang onto that theme and the principles/commitments! Good luck Cx
