Think it brings back memories of when my daughter was young and she was totally transfixed by this story, for months and months after she first saw it. We still watch it now, every year without fail.... Sorry not answering your question am I. Id say adding a storyline through role play? Retelling your own version, what would a snowman find in your house? Where would you go if you could fly? Sequencing events? Lots of stuff about feelings especially at eh end when the snowman melts.
