Guest
Hi not early years but i am starting a puzzle group with some of the juniors. Does anyone know where i can find the sort of problems that need logic to solve them. I mean the sort of thing when a square is cut up at strange angles and it only fits together one way. I have done wordsearches etc but club is at lunchtime and dont want them writing. want more quick thinking things where children have to work together. Ordered some puzzles from a catalogue but they havent arrived yet. Thanks for any inspiration out there.
Guest
There are some good books on this in bookshops - I saw an excellent one last year in Borders. It was a bit expensive but was really thick, and had a challenging puzzle per page, appropriate for KS2. I have no idea what it was called.
