Guest Posted December 11, 2007 Share Posted December 11, 2007 You have two seperate requirements here; 1/ What information you collect about the child prior to them starting, ie: registration form, parents views on current development, previous early years preschool or other experience if any, health, diet, etc etc. The information required would differ depending on the entry age. 2/ Policies regarding how you manage this information from confidentiality statement to storage / data protection. You will need to read up on data protection requirements to understand the importance of this. Also Freedom of information act. I have some documents which will help but not got time at the moment to upload them, will do later though. Try a search as this subject has been covered before.
