Guest colechin Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Does anyone out there have a 'Child Behaviour Policy' which I could take a look at? I have been informed that this is a requirement, as I currently don't have one. I do have a 'Child Protection Policy' in place, but have been informed that this is different from the above. Hope someone can help me!
AnonyMouse_3735 Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 (edited) Attached ours.........think there is one in the resource library too.... ours was amended to cover parents behaviour towards the staff when we had an incident involving a parent shouting at member of staff in front of the children for no reason. It does double up on lots but at the time we needed to highlight unacceptable behaviour by parents would not be tolerated. Inge Behaviour_Policy.doc Edited January 25, 2008 by Inge
Guest Wolfie Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 I think that what they mean by Child Behaviour Policy is Behaviour Management - your underlying philosophy and approach to promoting good behaviour and how you manage any instances of undesirable behaviour displayed by the children in your care.
Guest colechin Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 Thankyou for posting your policy Inge. I have printed it off and will have a look at it tonight. What would I do, if I didn't have this site? oh I know, pull my hair out!!!!!!
