Guest Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Hi I'm looking for some ideas for the year of the RAT. We are doing the food, as usual, for celebrating and making lanterns. Last year I made dragons with the children, but what else can we do?
AnonyMouse_10713 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 What about dragon masks? Or do you know the story of how the years got there names? It is great to act out with masks. Also teaches ordinal numbers. Try chinese writing with fat brushes and paint. Using chopsticks, moving pasta from one bowl to another. Big cardboard box dragon. Just a few ideas will continue to think. Shiny
Guest Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 There are some coloring/craft pages on the following sites: www.kiddyhouse.com http://www.activityvillage.co.uk/chinese_n...ar_coloring.htm http://www.eparenting.co.uk/colouringpages...colouring.shtml There may also be resources from last year in the forum resources section
