Guest
How often should you review your risk assessment?
AnonyMouse_10713
Hi jackieamos and welcome to the forum! At our preschool we do a full risk assessment every term, review and re-check every half term and obviously if anything changes we re-assess. We also risk assess all activities, outings, visits separately, as and when required. We also have a check list of areas to check every session, the toilet area, outdoor area and any other area we do not have exclusive use of, as well as the usual safety check, plug covers in, medicine cabinet locked, walk ways clear and dry etc. Hope this helps. AnonyMouse_4544
Hi and welcome to the forum I would say risk assessment needs to be reviewed if there are any changes to circumstances or environment.
AnonyMouse_79
We were encourages to do weekly risk assessments to make sure our environment/ circumstances hadnt changed in any way! We didnt renew the paperwork unless there was a change. Off site visits always involved new paperwork.
