Hi there. I have got to interview for a nursery nurse and room leader posts and wondered if anyone had a list of interview questions I could ask the candidates.

I went on a really good recruitment course once, and it said rather than ask "What would you do if.....?"; ask "Tell me about a time when..."

 

They said that if you asked hypothetical questions, you get hypothetical answers.

That's a good tip! We often ask about activities that they have carried out, books that they have enjoyed sharing with children, etc.
