Guest Biker
Just wondered if any one had any interesting ideas for world book day? The school we are based in are dressing as book characters ,i thought we could share our favourite books, perhaps make some books any other ideas would be most welcome. We will have children between 3 and 11 during the day as we have pre-school sessions plus breakfast and after school clubs. Thanks Biker.
Guest
We are doing pants all day. Aliens love underpants and the Pants books by Giles Andreas. Debating whether to dress up as an alien wearing underpants for our dressing up day... Probably will chicken out.

Guest
We've asked all the children to bring in their favourite book and dressing up if they want to. Also asked parents to come in and read their favourite book to groups of children and linking with primary school to go over and share books with them. We will be doing story sacks and have themed the week around books we know are popular with our children.

Guest Biker
Thanks for the ideas! We are going to join the whole school in dressing up but have decided to concentrate on the Hungry Caterpillar in our pre-school sessions. We will be providing resources for the children to make headresses/wings etc. in our creative area. Particularly love the idea of inviting parents in to read a story. Thanks again. Biker.
