Guest
Tell all us poor people who haven't had this training what to do, it sounds like great fun. I was only saying to the other joint supervisor the other day that we must teach the children some more songs. Wind the Bobbin up gets a bit dull after a few years!!!! But they do all love it! I also need to organise a regular session with the reception children and this sounds like it would really hit the spot.
AnonyMouse_4544
Ros believes being able to keep a steady beat helps children to learn so has produced lots of materials to support this. http://www.educationalpublications.com/sho...p?products_id=1 http://www.educationalpublications.com/sho...b7a6ac0d167fd86
Guest
There was about 60/70 women (a few men) all standing and doing children's songs. nothing like it to listen to a room full of women doing nursery rhymes
AnonyMouse_3735
did similar a couple of years ago now and have used steady beat resources ever since, children love the action rhymes but we did have to explain to parents why children were going home an rapping!! we were in a comminity hall and Our group were interupped and politely asked to 'keep the noise down' as the group next door could not hear what was going on in their session . So we had to rap in whispers!! Inge
AnonyMouse_705
Is there anything you would particularly recommend as a starter kit ie a book and a particular CD? Looks very interesting.
