AnonyMouse_3735
while browsing came across this site and felt had to share , it is American but worth a look. it just made me very aware that we have a lot to be grateful for with how children with disabilites are cared for in this country. whatkindofworlddoyouwant Inge

AnonyMouse_8466
Wow - what an emotional little film Thanks for sharing this, Inge - it really does make you think about the children we know who are on the autism spectrum and how even the most well developed nations of the world fail to support them adequately. 'Two' seems to be the magic number - two years to wait for a speech and language appointment for a child I know, even though this requirement for support is on her statement. It is shameful. AnonyMouse_3735
Maz, we must be lucky in this area then as all children here are usually seen and supported with Speech and language within 6 weeks , often faster. Unusual to wait longer. Inge
