Guest Joan Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 Has anyone else come across this site:- www.learninglive.co.uk/data/schools/data/Foundatn.htm I found some of the information/ planning pro-forma quite a good starting point for our pre-school nursery Cheers
Helen Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 Hi Joan, and thank you for posting the reference. I've had a look at the site; it looks like Hackney is a forward-thinking LEA and is really trying to bring together pre-school practitioners and reception teachers.
Guest Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 Thanks Joan for the web site. I must say it is very good! I have also been on the Southwark one and am very, very impressed by that. I agree with Helen that some authorities are forward thinking and keen to help their settings. All we get when we ask for proformas is "It's up to individual settings to decide what they want to do. There is no right or wrong way"-which is all well and good if you know what you are doing but if you are new to planning, observations, assessments and report writing it can be very daunting. Linda
