Guest Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Does anyone know where i can get some resources or information that is child friendly about sun safety. I been on the cancer website and the sunsafety leaflet have dont get skin cancer on the front. I really didnt want to introduce these words to our early years children and have to be careful about family/parental views.
Guest Wolfie Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 You might find something here - or if you contact them, they might be able to point you in the right direction... http://info.cancerresearchuk.org/healthyliving/sunsmart/ I'm assuming that this isn't what you've been looking at already!
Guest Wolfie Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Having read your post again, I think it might be...sorry!
Guest Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 My daughter brought home a leaflet from school the other day - very child friendly - called My Passport to the Sun. (It is aimed am Y1+ but it's OK for FS children to share with parents) It's from the National Schools Partnership. I think you have to be a school to register with them. I've just registered myself while looking them up! http://www.nationalschoolspartnership.com/index.html

AnonyMouse_8466 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 It's from the National Schools Partnership. I think you have to be a school to register with them. I just registered my pre-school with them too - will see what happens and if I get my goodies! Thanks Kaloufi! Maz
