AnonyMouse_6361
I was driving back home from ASDAs, I got 1/2 miles from home when I saw not one, not two but 2 police motorcyles. I said to mum there must be someone important, then some cars we thought the Queen was inside, but it was the Duke of Kent instead.people who where walking passed had there mouths wide open. I got back and rung my gran who said that the Duke of Kent was comming to our town for a visit. The funny thing is that the woman in the car looked like the Queen! I can't wait to tell the children at preschool tomorrow. Beth
Guest
Beth the Queen was visiting the Great Yorkshire show at Harrogate today for its 150th anniversary so it is possible (if they fitted in another engagement on the same day in the same area). I would have expected her to arrive by helicopter to harrogate though and i think there would be more than 2 outriders for THE Queen? Maybe she needed to nip in to Asda for something for Philips supper? Edited July 10, 2008 by Guest

Mum saw right inside the car though. No the Duke of Kent was up in Otley, somewhere else then Howarth today and went down to Elland for some reason or another.
