Guest
I know it's the holidays, but there seems to be so much to think about and wondered if anyone can help. Last term, for a variety of reasons, PE just didn't happen. Don't get me wrong we did various other activities, but we don't follow a particular PE structure. I was wondering if everyone has a particular programe they follow, or like me, a make up as we go along! I spoke to my early years advisor and she mentioned leap into life. Does anyone do this or does anyone know what it is? Apparently there is to be training next term but just wondered what others did. This is for 3 - 5 years. Sorry hope this makes sense. Jackie. AnonyMouse_8466
Hi JMB I knew I'd heard of this somewhere - there was a previous discussion here. It gets off to a slow start - but Marion (as usual) comes up trumps with a link. Maz

AnonyMouse_8466
I was having a good look at it myself once I found the link, JMB. Looks very interesting and I printed out loads of stuff to show my deputy supervisor for her to mull over... Maz
Guest
I did Leap into Life with my Year 1 and 2 class last term, it was great, they loved having PE every day and I loved the way it honed in on skills. Not so sure about using it in the Nursery class I'm having in September though. Our last nursery teacher said she had to simplify it a lot and change a lot of the activities because they were inappropriate.
Guest
My new workforce development directory arrived last week, so I will be booking myself onto that course. I fear I need to leap into something with all the snacking I've been doing whilst slaving over all this paper work. Jackie
