AnonyMouse_4961
Good Evening everyone, I wonder if anyone can clarify something for me - we have ofsted looming and we are all getting a little jittery. Can I ask have schools got risk assessments in place for the indoor and outdoor environments ( eg everything that a child comes into contact with that poses a hazard or risk) as per the statutory requirements of EYFS? would like to hear if you have and what it looks like!! thanks very much Jo
Guest
WE have one in place, put I don't do it. Head and health and safety gov do it and update it regularly. If you are a school then you should probably have one anyway.
AnonyMouse_4961
Thanks for your reply - there's no way my head will do it - this will be firmly in my court as the FS leader!!!
Guest
I agree with Bethie that in school you should not have to do it. In ours the H & S person does the whole school.......... no class teacher does their own!
