AnonyMouse_14766
Does anyone have any ideas for what I can do in cooking sessions that are suitable for a child with a milk allergy? Thanks, in advance Hi, We use soy milk and dairy free Pure spread or Stork margarine for cooking. Just check the listed ingredients with the parent/carer of the child with allergies and you should be okay.

Guest
We were given this recipe for Fairy cakes for a child with dairy and egg intolerance 5oz SR flour 5oz brown sugar 1 oz cocoa powder (check no milk products) a quarter teaspoon salt 8 fl.oz water 1 fl.oz vegetable oil 1 tbsp vinegar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Preheat oven to 180 oC. Mix together all dry ingredients. Make a well in middle and add all wet ingredients. Mix well then beat until smooth. Three quarters fill the paper cases with mixture and bake for 20-25 mins. Cool on wire rack and enjoy!! We have used it a few times with great success! Rachel
