Guest
Hi everyone, I am just putting the finishing touches to my first assignment for the Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning. and i am suffering from what can only be called 'brain fry' lol I have quoted two articles from the UN convention on the rights of the child and I am unclear how to reference this in text and in the bibliography, i know this is probably a really stupid question, as i have the document on my lap, but cant see where it would be. I would be so grateful if anyone could help me out, feeling really nervous about handing this in Claire x
Guest cathy m
This is how I referenced it for a recent assignment In text (UNCRC, Article ?, 1989) the question mark is for you to add what ever number United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989) (UNCRC) 'Your rights under the UNCRC' United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Youth Voice website: http://www.unicef.org.uk/youthvoice/pdfs/uncrc.pdf (accessed 24/02/08) Cathy
Guest
Hi Claire I am not doing the foundation degree but am doing the BA in Early Childhood Studies. I have to follow Harvard referencing and got my info for the UN convention info online. I referenced as follows and have always been told it is fine. Note though that the Convention on the Rights of the Child should be in italics but for some reason, it keeps cancelling out! United Nations (1989) Convention on the Rights of the Child. Retrieved 2nd May 2008 from http://www2.ohchr.org/english/law/crc.htm Am sure though that other FD folks will come along soon and give a definite answer for your course! Otherwise, hope this helps
