Hi, I am currently in the process of re-organising our policies and relating them to the EYFS strands of enabling environments, Unique Child, Posotive Contributions, Parents as Partners. I did try just having the four folders but this was not working, so going back to the five every child matters, outcomes and linking them to eyfs. Please Please can anybody help, do you have an index or certain order that you put yours in. I would be grateful for any comments or document that you use to organise yours.

thanking you in anticipation. :oxD

I dont know how to scan mine on to the site for you fully

So I can tell you I do mine like this

I have the five outcomes in five seperate books Then I split up the policies like this into the seperate books

Stay Safe

Safeguarding Children

1 Childrens rights and entitlements

2 Safegaurding children

ect ect

Making a Positive contribution

Equality of opportunity

10 Valuing diversity and promoting equality

11 Special educational needs

ect ect

Be Healthy

Promoting Health and Hygiene

14 Administering medicines

15 Nappy Changing

ect ect

Then just a list out on show for parents to look at. A list in my operational plan

and a book of all the policies in full if any wants to look. staff, parents, Ofsted ect

Hope this makes sense and helps

Thanks very much for replying, this is the method similar to what I was doing, was just hoping that someone could help cross reference and save a little time, myself.
