Guest Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I am looking for a very simple website with dinosaur pictures and facts. My reception class are keen to find out about dinosaurs and I would like them to be able to explore a website that they could understand, with help of course. I am sure someone will know

Guest Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Thank you! The Natural history museum one looks just the thing. Anyone any ideas about how we could pretend to excavate dinosaur bones??
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Erm , could you make some pretend ones with twigs painted?
Guest Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 (edited) Everything dinosaur.com do some fossil excavation kits - found these were a bit small but boots also did one in their xmas range last year - were brilliant - we set up a timetable for workers to excavate - kept a log of what the discovered at each stage - used digital camera to record findings etc. Edited October 28, 2008 by H
