Guest

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'm writing a report on

Why it's important for parents and professionals to share information on children learning and development?

I would be very grateful if some early years worker would beable to share their views.

Thanks in advance Angela

The unknown quantity, unless shared, what happens in preschool and vise versa what happens at home/out of preschool, fitting the jigsaw pieces together. :o

Parents know their children best, up until starting school some children may never have spent any time with any one else or in any other setting. Parents can share their childrens interest and achievements with you.

I'd also suggest having a look at Margy Whalley's book Involving Parents in their Children's Learning (or something like that: its a long walk to the bookcase!).

I'm sure if you put her name into Amazon the right details will come up! :o
