AnonyMouse_2157 Posted November 18, 2008 Share Posted November 18, 2008 hi busybees for our children with medical conditions we draw up individual health care plans with the child's nurse specialist/health visitor or other involved agency and also parent. For example we have a child with a severe allergy to nuts, eggs and beans. We contacted the school nurse who put us in touch with the city's health worker who deals with care plans and training for allergies. She visited the nursery provided us with training and a care plan for said child. We also have a child with cycstic fribrosis and so the nurse specialist visited us and together we drew up a care plan. Basically we only have care plans for children that need regular medical intervention. We adapted the care plan from the nut allergy child to suit another who has severe eczema but who is not under any nurse specialist. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
