Guest
I wonder if anyone could help me please my teacher has been on an observation today and on the teachers planning there was an abbreviation GTEP or something similar. The class teacher was unable to explain other than it had something to do with inclussion possibly? I'm not even sure that it's right but just wondered if anyone had a clue? Cheers A very confussed Vicky!!!

Guest
Gatsby Technical Education Projects maybe? Marion I am sure your middle or surname must be Google. (if not you should at least have shares in the Google empire). Peggy
AnonyMouse_79
Could it have been GTPR? Grapheme to phoneme representation? Although Ive no idea if there is such an abbreviation but seems to fit with phonics?
AnonyMouse_1195
The trouble with abbreviations is there are so many and it is difficult to remember them all. I googled it as well Peggy, as the only one I know was the Graduate Teacher Education Programme, and just loved some of the answers: one was for a literacy scheme in Poland and another a literacy programme for Indian tribes, so they don't seem applicable here. Guest
Only the staff of course! Thanks these suggestions are great I think the phonics related one fits best although how can you have something on your planning which you don't understand? How can that be effective planning and teaching?
