Guest
We have been chosen to have a display of the childrens work in our local library. The display will be up for 1 month and the aim (from our point of view) it to advertise the Pre-School. But parents will hopefully take their children along to the library to see their work too. any ideas what the display could be?? I am trying to think of something relevent (the display will be in Feb) colourful, fun and easy for the children... any ideas very welcome!!! Thanks
AnonyMouse_13453
Well the obvious idea would be self-portraits, but how about spring pictures? Lots of collage potential there. With parent's permission you could perhaps stick a photo of each child making their artwork next to the picture. Of course, you'll need things like brochures or somesuch for folk to help themselves to, maybe a prospectus fastened up for people to browse. Guest
Other ideas would be to relate the display to particular book(s) they all enjoy (which would fit in with the library visits), along with perhaps some text narrating what the children like about the books. And/or perhaps (with parents permission) some photos of children engaged in different types of play. Sparklebox have some great ideas for displays as well. http://www.sparklebox.co.uk/gallery/index.html
