Guest
Tomorrow I am doing a lesson on times of the day with my reception class (morning, afternoon, evening) and have thought of some adult focused activities and child initiated opportunities but am trying to think of an outdoor activity which the children could do. Can any one help me?

Guest Mrs Tiggy Winkle
My first thought was 'whats the time mr wolf' too! How about just putting out some sandtimers or stopwatches and letting the children work out their own games / activities to 'time'? e.g how many jumps before the sand runs through, or timing a ball / car down a slope. Pretty much anything really that gets them thinking about time and using vocabulary around time.
