Guest
mmmm, that's what I think, but discovered some do it differently. guidelines suggest that is best way but say bottles can be kept for a max of 24 hours...

AnonyMouse_2732
Our parents bring them in, stored in specific fridge and heated as required. Means we have to trust parents to bring in fresh! Sue

AnonyMouse_13453
I have a Mum recently back from her maternity leave who was told by her midwife and health visitor that bottles must not be made up in advance - each should be made fresh. But did say that she could make the night time one up before she went to bed - but added - don't tell anyone I said that (HAHAHAHA)
AnonyMouse_3139
I'm always surprised that my children survived babyhood when I hear how things should be done these days. I used to make all bottles for the day (24 hours) and store them in the fridge until needed. I dont recall ever being told I couldnt. Same with solids and how best to lie them down for sleep. Oh and yoghurts, soft cheeses, eggs... The nursery I work in now has them bought in ready made by parents.
