AnonyMouse_11485
A little girl in my school (year 4) has just found out her mum has cancer. Hopefully it's treatable but she's very upset and has lots of difficult feelings. I just wondered if anyone knows of any books that are helpful for this situation. Thank you. AnonyMouse_6721
Hi that is very sad news. I have just read about a prefect book in Nursery World. Did you read about the when the Early Years Consultant, had her grandchildren, we wrote about their early development as a column. She has since had cancer and has written a book especially for younger children. I will try and find the article again. Unless anyone knows the book, I am talking about? AnonyMouse_379
Also have a look at the Winstons Wish website. I have a little girl at school- who we are also looking to get books for and there are some good ones on the website.
