AnonyMouse_5892
Hello, I recently asked for reception and year 1 practitioners to participate in a research questionnaire regarding the transition from reception to year 1 for my dissertation. I have received 4 completed questionnaires which I am very grateful for. I would really appreciate it if more practitioners could respond. I will not be disclosing anyone's identity in the research. Even if your school is not particularly effective at transitions, it would still be of valuable information to me. Thank you in advance if you participate. AnonyMouse_8466
I have completed questionairre but don't know where to send it. You need to PM millhill and attach it to your message. Click on her name in this post and select 'send a message', and then use the 'browse' to select your saved questionnaire, and then the upload button to attach. I hope you get some more replies, millhill: I know how hard it is when you're waiting for the replies to come in! Maz

AnonyMouse_64
OOPs sorry. Don't worry! Unfortunately there are bad folk out there that 'harvest' email addresses off the internet for future spamming enterprises. So to protect everyone who might not be aware we decided to keep email addresses off the open forum to protect our members.

After all, you don't want to be emailed offering Viagra, or to increase the size of certain parts of your body, or to make friends with a lapdancer from Thailand... Glad you've got some more responses, millhill! Maz
AnonyMouse_5892
I can appreciate the reasons for deleting email addresses, should have realised really! Apologies to anyone who tried to download the questionnaire on this topic, I had accidently posted a university colleague's completed questionnaire rather than the blank one. OOPs!! Good job the questionnaires are anonymous!!! I have now attached the correct questionnaire ready for completion to the original post above! AnonyMouse_5892
Thank you to everyone who has sent their completed questionnaires. I have 13 now. Would be grateful for anymore. It's very interesting reading how different schools approach transitions! Happy 'snow day' to those whose schools are closed!
Guest
I will talk to my Year 1 colleague tomorrow - as long as the snow lets me get there - I'm quite sure she will be willing to fill one in. I'm the reception teacher and we are both new to the school since Sept.

I'm the reception teacher and we are both new to the school since Sept. Thank you. I haven't had many responses from year 1 teachers, mainly reception and FS co-ordinators. Would be interesting to see what year 1 teachers think of transitions as some seem to be providing a more formal curriculum. Good luck if you brave the snow. Luckily I'm off work tomorrow (need more time for uni study), unless the snow miraculously melts overnight . You never know!!
