Guest Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 I think it should be passed by committee, signed by chair, not sure if staff have a say in policies, although it would be good practice to have staff's (parents and childrens where possible) input when reviewing policies. If the policy forms part of the employee's terms and conditions then the employer must re-negotiate changes to the terms and conditions with employees. So in this case if your contract states that you must abide by the grievance and complaints procedure then I would expect employees to be consulted.
