Guest
Hi quick question cos im getting a bit confused. When reporting a concern who do you first report to childrens care services or LSCB? Our policy seems to imply LSCB. If you have filled out a cause for concern form do you have to report it or is it just a record for monitoring? Thnaks
AnonyMouse_19135
Hiquick question cos im getting a bit confused. When reporting a concern who do you first report to childrens care services or LSCB? Our policy seems to imply LSCB. If you have filled out a cause for concern form do you have to report it or is it just a record for monitoring? Thnaks At the inspection this week the inspector said you must first report it to the lscb/child protection agency. As for the paperwork, no you don't have to report it if you have written a cause for concern sheet out. You need to monitor the situation. Hope that helps p.s, this is just what our inspector said, going on threads on this board other inspectors may say something different
Guest Wolfie
Our Cause for Concern forms are usually filed in the children's records and monitored - if a pattern began to emerge then we would consider reporting.
