Guest Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Hi , know I am sad, but I am trying to get organised for a fourth year student after Easter. Does anyone have any good ideas for a topic on 'new life?' We are doing minibeasts next half term, so it needs to follow on from that really! Thanks in advance and anticipation!! Anje x
Guest Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' is always a good story to use and as well as literacy uses you can get some super art work from it. Also by Eric Carle - The Tiny Seed. There are similar picture books showing the life-cycle of the frog, but can't remember the one i used. Have a look at 'Sebastian Swan' on Kent NGFL website.

AnonyMouse_64 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Hi Anj, I am going to move this into the 'Growing' topic section, as that is probably the closest fit! Have you looked at the Growing topic support for ideas?
AnonyMouse_13453 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 We have a fantastic book called 'There's a House Inside my Mummy' about a new sibling.
