Guest Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I have a large group of my children who can't blend sounds to read words at all. I wondered if any one had any tips of games that they have found to be really effective?
Guest Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 (edited) My group love "Georgie's Gym" from Letters and Sounds - it's in the Phase 2 section I think. Now they argue over whose turn it is to be the teacher and say r-u-n for the others to blend and do. I'm just about to introduce some written actions as they can all blend the sounds when I say them and they're begining to read cvc words. You can download Letters and Sounds here: http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.g...124?uc=force_uj Edited March 18, 2009 by Guest
