AnonyMouse_665 Posted April 10, 2009 Author Posted April 10, 2009 Thankyou that was definatly a better search than I got. Unfortunatly I still have not got the answer. Does anyone have a letter they send home to all parents when you have cases of head lice reported. thanks angela
AnonyMouse_8466 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Does anyone have a letter they send home to all parents when you have cases of head lice reported. No, we don't send out a letter - we put up a notice warning parents that they have been found/reported at nursery, and asking everyone to check their child's hair that evening and treat with conditioner if necessary. We have leaflets and information sheet to hand out if necessary. Maz
Guest Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 we also put a notice up when we have be informed of an 'attack'
AnonyMouse_1999 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 No we don't send out a letter either - with 60 children on roll we would end up using a forest! Just put a note up in the entrance to let parents know that 'little friends' are around!
AnonyMouse_20414 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Same here - when a case is reported, a written note is put up in reception. Leaflets are always available too! dottyp
AnonyMouse_8466 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I think from time to time I would also put something into a newsletter - especially in September when it seems the whole cycle sets off again with a new intake of children into school! Maz
Guest Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 We also put a note out the front informing the parents with a leaflet/letter about what to look out for, treatments etc etc. samfrostie
AnonyMouse_665 Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 thanks you are probably right a notice would be best we have 68 children. We do have leaflets available all the time. a reminder on the newsletter is also a good idea. thanks everyone angela
