Guest
I have to plan an activity that provides children with information about their rights and builds confidence and self esteem. I work in a pre-school. Any help much appreciated. Thanks!
Guest
I presume this is 305.1.7, "provide children with information about their rights and responsibilities in your setting" ? Most settings have some "rules", such as "we walk indooors", we are kind to our friends" etc. It is the children's responsibility to follow the rules, and their right that others do so. Probably a "circle time" activity would best cover this, perhaps you could make a poster to illustrate the rules, after you have discussed them. If you don't have any at present, then get the children to suggest how they would like to be treated, and make your own list.
