Guest
Whole class participation in "one currant bun in the baker's shop" always works well - use children as the buns and pick different children to come an buy one! Keep counting up how much the shop keeper has as you go along. How much will he/she have if little Johnnie comes and buys a bun etc, etc. For Christmas, the children can sing "one mince pie in the baker's shop"! To extend the children change the cost of the buns to 2p? Ask how much will be left if they have 10p and buy one bun etc, etc. Have fun!
