Guest
The only idea I can add to these great suggestions is "The Lighthouse keeper's lunch" if you want to extend journeys to talk about safety at sea. Carolyn
Guest
When I did journeys topic I had a special journeys bear (bit like barnaby bear) he had a suitcase containing a diary, camera, PJs, passport (bought from the bear factoryThe bear factory), toothbrush and a story to read at home. The children loved taking him home for the weekend and drew a picture of the 'journey' in his diary and took a picture. They loved telling the class what they had been up to when they brought him back.
