Guest
Can anyone help with this Can anyone define what it means when it says on the EYFS full requirments for reception class that a person may be an overseas qulified teacher or an 'instuctor'( someone with the necessary qualifications or experience or both where the govenors are satisfied with the qualifiactios or experience). I am a Level 4 montessori Teacher with 17 years experience does this count towards me being able to have 1:30 ratio or am I only allowed 1:8? Guest
Hi - welcome to the forum. I would say this if you are a qualified teacher then you would fit the requirement for reception, if you are level 4 then you would be 1-8 over 3 / 1-4 under 3 - I do not think it matters how many years experience anyone has - it is all down to the qualification - could be wrong though Dot
Guest
Hi lulucaudwell, I have the same qualification and work on 1:8. I hope it's not 1:30, and if it is I'm keeping quiet jackie.
