AnonyMouse_13789
Hi all, After half term my children want to learn about animals that live in the forest, trees and birds. This leads on nicely from our last topic of fairies, where we watched a fairy episode of 'The Magic Faraway Tree' which is where their topic ideas stemmed from for the new topic. This also ties in nicely with our trip which is to a national forest. Any ideas how to organise the topic and ideas? I almost feel that it is so vast that I don't know how to scale it down into managebale weekly chunks. Only thing that I really want to do is decorating trees, tree ring patterns, tree rubbing collages. Thanks
Guest
Looking at a tree using a mirror to look at the reflection is a good one. Using long grass and weeds to do some weaving. As for organisation could you split it into types of wildlife. How early is the trip?
