I sang santa had a sack of toys, oh what a lot years ago so it does exist, but cannot remember where I got it from. I'll have a dig but can't promise anything at the moment as I binned a lot of old stuff recently! :o

I've remembered what we did.

To the tune of Old macdonald.........

Santa had a sack of toys

Oh what a lot!

And in that sack he had some ????insert toys name e.g footballs????

Oh what a lot.

With a < insert action linked to the object here>e.g. bounce bounce here and a bounce bounce there, here a bounce there a bounce everywhere a bounce bounce

Santa had a sack of toys,

Oh what a lot.

Repeat ad infinitum/ad nauseum with your own inserts.

Tah dah :D:D:D

I have a song with those words from a Golden Apple production which I did several years ago (not sure that it was tune of Old Macdonald though). I'll look in my cupboard at school on Monday.

oh I know it well! We are singing it this year as part of our nativity! And of course everyday we seem to sing it over and over and over again! The taped version that goes with the book is soooo fast though for little ones!

The official lines are

Santa Claus has a sack full of toys, Oh what a lot

And in that sack he had some dolls oh what a lot

With a tall doll here, a short doll there, here a doll, there a doll everywhere a dancing doll

Santa Claus has a sack full of toys, oh what a lot

Repeat with bear, big bear, small bear everywhere a baby bear

And a clown, fat clown, thin clown and clumsy clown.

Enjoy the singing.
