Guest
I want to create a 'whatever you want it to be' role play area in the classroom where there is a box of bits that the children can construct into dens and use for imaginative role play independently. I was thinking about using a clothes horse pegs and sheets but wondered if anyone had any other ideas?? Thanks!
AnonyMouse_64
Large boxes are always really popular too!
AnonyMouse_11485
Our den building area is outside and has our community play blocks and other large construction, clothes horses, crates, guttering and pipes, ropes, fabric, pegs, planks of wood .... I think that's mostly it. The children have made some really wonderful dens this year.
AnonyMouse_3735
we found the best way was to start the box with as you say sheets, pegs abd clothes horse, then watch and add as appropriate, we found children asked for items to help with building, chairs were often used, and they asked for things like tape, string, bricks, we went with the flow..
