AnonyMouse_468
I was just looking at next term’s planning and needed to search for important dates that we usually mark at Nursery in some way. Thought they might be useful to other people. Eid-ul-Adha - 21-24 January 2005 Shrove Tuesday - Tuesday 8 February 2005 Chinese New Year - Wednesday 9 February 2005 (year of the Rooster) Mother’s Day - Sunday 6 March 2005 Good Friday - Friday 25 March 2005 Easter Sunday - Sunday 27 March 2005 I look forward to having pancakes and Chineses food tasting on two consecutive days! Any others that I've forgotton? Jackie

Steve
For anyone who has the time and the inclination, you're all very welcome to add dates to the Calendar (accessed from the top right hand of every page), and they will then appear on the Forum index page. It is always useful if you're able to include a link to an informative site when you do this. If you can also check whether they've already been added that's also useful to avoid duplication! Guest
We made Eid cards last month with gold and silver crescent moons stuck on to black paper. Very easy effective and appreciated by the Muslim family at our pre-school who sent us an Eid card and brought in a tin of sweets for all our children to share!
