AnonyMouse_4544
Our LA is 'doing' neither QISP or Ecers and there is no statutory requirement to. I am interested to know what other LAs do. My LA is not doing ECERS or QISP Just a dialogue with advisor
AnonyMouse_13457
Derbyshire are offering ECCERS ands QSIP but it is voluntary. We got £200 to agree to attend info on ECCERS and I will be audited in the Autumn. It is seen as an add on to our SEF and an opportunity for us to take a step back and reflect on practice.. I know some of our scores will be low but we do what works for us! QSIP is being offered to help use our EYIO (Early Years Improvement Officer) mor effectively. If we score high our visits will be limited. I'm not threatened by either of them but then I'm past the age of being intimidated by other professionals! We know we ptrovide goodexperiences for the children but there is always room for improvement. korkycat
