Slef Registration Ideas?

Any suggestions for a new self registration chart? We currently have flower heads that the children stick onto stalks (velcroed on) in a window box but feel like something new?

Each child at our setting has a small laminated card with their photograph and name on (with velcro on the back)

We covered an easel with material and stuck on velcro tabs. Each child puts up their picture card on arrival and we

use the cards for both registration and snack bar checks!

I use an interactive self registration programme.The children have to find the rocket with their name on and press it before it goes into space, the children love it too!!

 

I'll put the link on tomorrow when at school.

we have ducks velcro'd onto a pond we to use it for snack but it's more for the children than for us keeping an eye on who has had what

we have name badge fridge magnets and use a magnetic board in the arrival area, we have 4 diff coloured tables to go to for registration, a chart showing which table they need to go to that morning is also there, they bring their name magnets in and put on corresponding table magnetic board in playroom, oldest ones especially are encouraged to find their names and which colour table they're on as well as looking at other children's name on that table with them and also which member of staff will be on their table for register....they also collect these badges and take back to same table for snack time.
